Anyone bought a photo in 3D crystal as a gift?

I've recently stumbled across 3D crystal prints and was wondering about getting one as a gift. The only red flag in my head is that I can't find much in the way of views as to whether they're any good beyond the sellers sites!

Anyone had any photos done like this?

Had ours done back in 2005 in Venice. Give it a swerve and spend your money on something useful. It makes a great paperweight but It has the uncanny ability to make people look really awful.
