Anyone bought anything from ocuk with amazon payment?

Basically I placed an order here last night with amazon payments and it's still awaiting payment. The money was taken out my account last night and my amazon payments account still says 'to be processed soon' but when I go into details it says the remaining amount to be charged is the full cost of the item? Does this mean ocuk haven't charged through Amazon yet or amazon is saying my accounts not been charged yet or what? I'm confused.

To sum things up, anyone here used log in and pay with amazon on ocuk before? Was it fast? Any issues?

I tried but the money never went out, only realised a few hours later and phoned OCUK who confirmed nothing had come through. No idea why, I use amazon all the time and my payment details haven't changed. I had to reorder and used paypal instead.

did the money come out of your bank first? How do I go about cancelling as I assume amazon are holding my money...

Edit: just got confirmation from ocuk that the payment has gone through however amazon payments is still showing it as to be processed soon which is confusing :confused:

Amazon steps:
1) Place order
2) When released to warehouse (all items are in stock), or build started for systems, attempt to authorise full payment value
3) When order ships, capture (charge) authorised amount(s)

If the available balance on your bank / credit card has gone down, the authorisation has been processed, but amazon will not show a charge until it is shipped. You may be able to see open authorisations or not on your customer side account, the merchant certainly can.

i guess i'm too accustomed to seeing things instantly haha, need to learn a little patience and not worry so much
