Seagate are now only giving a 2 year warranty on all new consumer drives.

Not surprising considering how the whole world economy is going.... just like all the other cost cutting methods used by other manufacturers.
I wonder how many people will now look to one of the other 2 HD manufacturers when considering a consumer drive purchase. Or if people really care about a HD warranty.
