He was talking about the car generally at that point, though I'm sure he'll relish your opportunity for him to scrape back some credibility by pretending thats what he meant all along :D

Sorry:D

How can I prove that alone? It's a general opinion. Porsches are common, anything that is common psychologically leads to a sense that it is not something special. If you lived in a town where everyone had F430s you wouldn't think much of them despite them being very good cars.

A lesson for the keyboard warriors. Argue with people on your wavelength, educate people who aren't.

I agree with you here, I live in nantwich which is 5 minutes away from Crewe and the Bentley factory. Now on a drive out to work/collage I must see a Bentley on each trip. So much so I don't even notice them any more.

I've never been in one and I'm sure it's a very special car. But if I had in execs of 100k to spend on a daily driver I perhaps wouldn't consider it because I just see them too often.

Missed this, but no, very different.

The Cayman S I've driven on track never really got under my skin that much, not sure why but I'd like to have another go to think about it again.

996 GT3 I absolutely loved however, totally different car to the Cayman but great fun.

The GT3 would be my first pick from the Porsche stable.
