Sounds like the place I went to. I'd have to dig through a box of stuff to confirm where exactly it was, but camel, croc, kangaroo were all on the menu as well as a few others (emu?).It was delicious. I was working for a few days at a place that specialised in 'bush' food...Croc, camel, kangaroo, drop bear ()...All sorts.
Had a steak one night and a massive burger with loads of fresh, tangy relish the next. Om nom nom.

Odd question, prompted by your post... why don't we eat goat (in the western world)? I've had it abroad and it tastes like lamb (mutton).... so why not chomp on it here?I imagine it's similar to goat. If it cooked slow and low temperature beautiful meat. If cooked to fast fatty and tough.
