Anyone else constantly get electrocuted?

I imagine the most anyone has ever been electrocuted is once but I guess it is possible to be medically dead and then resuscitated before being electrocuted again?

Is it a little shock or a megger one, many years ago at work there was a cleaner, she was a walking Leyden jar, & use to give a nasty jolt..

Watch your electronics at Ohm, static can kill them.

Come on guys enough with the jokes, it is time the op learned the horrible truth. It is a early sign of your impending (not so) spontaneous combustion. Don't wear your best shoes if you want them to remain scorch free.

carpet got changed at work, i regularly use some big metal cupboards.

Using them or leaving the office is a guaranteed static shock for me, and some of the largest i've had in my life (chair + carpet problem i think?) i get at least 30 in a working day.

Pretty large negative reinforcement against using the door handle, i noticed myself subconsciously flinching when i reach for it now.

At work I am constantly using the lifts in fear as the electric shocks I get from them are so powerful sometimes, sometimes you get in the lifts and they just smell of static.

Cold, dry weather where you are?

Always worst at this time of the year. The cold freezes the moisture out of the air and thats what conducts away the charge.

Its much less of a problem in the summer due to high humidity.

About 40 times a day I get a shock, always at work & never at home.

Friction with the carpets. Nylon is one of the worst offenders.

Oh yeah, all the time - magnetic fire doors, the tubular framed gate things at the supermarket, cars, anything metal really. I'm a highly charged (or negligibly, i can't remember which way round it is) individual.
