Although the summer brings massive mounts of grip which is great for some action in the twistys the standard MR2 intercooler really cant cope and power drops.

Now that its getting a lot colder im starting to notice the difference already. The car just feels like a different beast altogether. Think it might be time to up the boost again.

So is anyone else noticed the power gains from the cold air, I know I am and as long as its dry and cold its all good. :D

Can't say I have, but the Ninja always feels quick to me :)

Have to take the ST out for a spin sometime...

Scort.

my 200 loved this time of year all the cold air going through the fmic :D it would boost so much quicker.

the rado doesnt realy care what temp it is lol.

Yep, couldn't believe it.

I'm still recovering from the shock of turning the boost back up, and then the colder weather... I've never known my car to move so quickly!

Mine absolutely loves the cold air. That coupled with less grip and its a fantasmical drift situation :D

Didn't enjoy this morning. About 30 seconds after getting into the car it misted up quicker than any car ever has on me. went from clear to totally misted within a few seconds. Very scary at 50mph on a windy road :(

The weather at the moment has turned my Volvo 940 into a machine that mimics the drifting performance of an AE86.

Yep, I'm surprised at how more 'lively' the teg feels actually. I'm used to lovely cold-weather performance in my last two cars due to them being turbo nutters, but really wasn't expecting the 'teg to feel any different in the cold weather. Pleasantly surprised
