If you want good mpg you should have got a D4-D Yaris.

If I was concerned I wouldnt drive a 3 litre car around town. Doesn't mean the only difference to driving in cold weather is that the mpg goes down isn't noteworthy though

i cant feel any difference, then again i cant feel anything as i have no heater or rear window.

I reckon my van can crack into the teens for 0-60 this weather, I'll try it out at some point using the usual calender to time it.

My car however doesn't pop and bang anymore though on a cold start with this weather, thought it'd be even more pronounced, but being French it doesn't work to conventional methods

Quiet time at work at least with the air con off and the fresh air working like a charm.

Yes i love the fact i can sit there and use my heated windscreen whilst sat in my heated leather seats, while the rest of muppets have to scrape and freeze their asses off

Oh and i love the extra power too, plus its nice to have some brakes and grip on my tyres (new pads all round and nice new tyres!)

I fired up the air con to demist mine this morning. It worked, but blimey nora was it cold Heater soon warmed me up once I got going though.. And could see where I was going

My car is absolutely flying at the moment and Im loving it

My car stinks in the morning with the amount of diesel it sucks through to warm it up, and I can't really tell if the cold has made it any faster since I never really push it that hard in the first place

But given that this time last year I was in a 12-year old non-turbo'd diesel that took 10 seconds for the glow plugs to heat, 5 minutes to de-mist and nearly 10 minutes make the car remotely warm inside, I can't complain

doesnt really count as cars or that, but at the karting this morning i could definetely feel a bit more pace from the kart, which was completely offset by the baltic tyres trying their best to put me into the barriers.

Yep first time I have experianced freezing temps and had a turbo. I've had fun today, feels like the boost picks up very quick and hits harder.
