I could retire right now and never get bored again. In fact if the government allowed a "job swap" with someone from the long term unemployed, I'd jump at it. If I have a talent for anything, it's living on a tight budget.
I have a wide range of TV interests. I have a list of books I want to read as long as my arms... and legs, and the M25. I listen to podcasts, Radio4, waste hours and hours on the internet, am interested in global finance, PC hardware, play the guitar and keyboards (badly!), enjoy walking, photography, cooking, writing, painting, and I really could do with 6 months off just to catch up with some DIY.
So, er... bored? Never. Just very lazy sometimes.
We live in the most exciting, feature-rich period in human history. When I was young they promised us a future where everyone would work less and have a higher quality of life. They told porkies. I am ready for that life of leisure, but nobody is prepared to pay me to enjoy it.
Life is so unfair.
