Anyone else get their foot caught when using the clutch?

Yep. being 6'3" and wearing massive skate shoes doesn't help things though :)

i stopped wearing skate shoes pretty much in sync with me starting to drive, and this is not coincidental! Also realised that they look ridiculous unless you're on the bus to college as well :)

Try using the ball of your foot on the clutch, rather than the main part of your foot. I only use the ball/toes on my foot, works for me :)

That it was I was trying to get at. I know if I sit at an odd angle (eg long motor cruising then need to change gears) and don't reposition myself correctly into a driving position I often get a part of foot "stuck" behind a pedle or something.

My left foot constantly rests on the clutch, even on long motorway trips - bad habit I know but I just never ever seem to use the foot rest:o

oh and no, never got my foot stuck.

Was out in the dual control car this morning. I adjusted the seat all the way down and that actually helped a lot! I still got caught once or twice but it wasn't so bad as last week.

Still get my foot caught on the trim though when I put the clutch in and then have to raise it again cause a car suddenly comes along.

Had this problem with pretty much any car i've driven (6'3 and size 13). I used to wear skate shoes but had to stop when i started driving. Now wear van slip on's and they are brilliant for driving, although a little uncomfortable at the heel on long journeys. Think i might get some puma speedcats, heard they are pretty much the best shoe for driving without getting proper race shoes like sparco sharks

I have driftcat 2s and I was wearing them at the RR day, they are absolutely brilliant to drive in :)

Never had an issue driving in my DCs though...
