Anyone else get this scam letter?

I've phoned the number on the letter twice from a withheld number, each time I was connected to two different, what sounds like your normal English person speaking person who sounded like they were in a call centre.

I'd say this was a genuine letter.

Of course it's genuine.

Pay your bills lmao.

I thought my negative Paypal balance would just stay negative forever. But about 6 months in they simply transferred the -£90 to akinika and I ended up paying it off immediately.

Looking online, Rebecca Potter seems to be a real person;

Seems a little odd for them to be working on behalf of the NHS?

Not been stealing all their colostomy bags so you can put them through peoples letter boxes have you?

those guys are complete loons, what ever you do OP don't go to that forum and listen to their 'advice' - they're the same people who advised the idiot in Nottingham who was on the news getting his house repossessed because he didn't do anything about his endowment policy and figured he'd paid the bank 'enough'.

Well I just phoned them up and they said they are a real company, sounded like a call centre. I gave the reference number from the letter and they said it was real. I asked them to expand on the details of the debt which they couldn't do. I asked them to expand on my personal details... which surprisingly they couldn't do and were asking me for more information about myself.

They insisted they were a real company and would now contact the company who instructed them to create this reference number for more details and request further information and would contact me again if they needed to. Then they asked for a contact number :D

btw I don't owe any money and haven't had any unpaid car parking fees

Did you confirm your name and address were correct with them? I'd expect, as part of their security checks, them to at least ask you to confirm these at the beginning of the call - and it would be quite reasonable for them to expect you to confirm them. I hope you withheld your number when phoning them and didn't give them any number or email address.

You are aware that there are still details on that letter that malicious people could use? The reference number on the payment slip, for example.

Thanks, doesn't have any of my details, but removed it all the same.

Spoke to a friend who works in finance who informed me they are a real company and I might have a fraudulent debt in my name. Well I did ring them gave them minimal details and they said they would be in contact again once the creditor gets back to them. Not giving anything over the phone.

The only debt I owe to anyone is student loan. Surely you would receive correspondence from any money you owe prior to X company passing on debt to a collector? Another reason I'm not worried as the only mail I receive these days are bank statements. If I get another letter I'll investigate further, but just going to ignore.

Well you can already see it relates to the NHS no?

How long have you lived at that address for?

I'm guessing it could easily be a previous tenant then, especially as they don't actually have your name even. Also if you're moving house soon you'll probably not hear from them again unless it really was you they're looking for.
