Anyone else getting bored of gaming?

Definitely, Genre's are becoming stale for me. Call of Duty being the only games my friends play and that is now just getting old I'm not finding it as fun as I used to.

Love my 3DS as it's adding an interesting perspective on most games, and revitalizing my interest, though The last Console game I bought was F1 2010 and PC game was Black op's so I think I'm fading out of home gaming.

Take a new slant on it, I got involved in hardware modding and tournaments. Made gaming very fresh again, especially playing socially rather than in a room on my own.

i feel that the catalyst to get me going again will be a 3ds (im holding out for the next model in the hope it will have a better battery , a 3ds lite if you will.)
and a new pc with bf3.
This happens in waves all the time and i feel the same, also forza 4 will get me going again. for me the decline has been largely related to **** internet also.

i'm a bit bored of it. Dont buy new games that much. Will just play the games i have if i'm not doing anything. Prefer going out cycling/pub other stuff these days.

I think I'm bored of gaming sometimes.

I recently started playing The Witcher, it bored me so much I nearly lost the will to live. Over familiar game world, pretty average story and a protagonist I didn't like, but then I play something like Minecraft, Child of Eden or Shogun.2 and I fall straight back in love.

Nope Nope, although I do find it hard to concentrate on games these days. Too many outside worries and influences. Text messages mainly lol, If I have a girl on the other end of my phone....I dont get fully immersed. Damn slags :p

I think basically since I've gotten older, life has taken my freedom to settle down and enjoy the game. :(

Although Life can balls when Skyrim is released

Same here, I really have a hard time getting into a game. Too many other things irl and I actually feel a bit 'guilty' playing games for any decent length of time lol, used to do this a lot, growing up I guess?

Especially single player stuff, I think being so used to online MP gaming has kinda killed that off for me. I don't find it as interesting/get bored quickly, even if the game is meant to be good...

I'm suffering more from a lack of games that interest me.

For the whole of 2011, I've bought Fallout: New Vegas, and I only plan on buying Skyrim and Forza 4.

Every time I boot up my Xbox, I end up playing Trials HD, which is just fantastic in every way. I play for 30 minutes to an hour, and I turn it off. New Vegas sits in the drive waiting for me to play it, and most of the time I don't bother.
