Not because it upsets me, I just don't enjoy it for some reason. I work on a number of sites and, as this is my last week in Notts I've had to say goodbye to 3 different sets of people from work plus friends last night and tonight and a semi-girlfriend. Does anyone else just prefer to disapear without all the fuss?

I think everyone would rather just slip away, but it's only right for the people who know you to say goodbye properly.

I do, always have, always try too. don't really know why as I have never looked into myself deep enough to answer this specific question. Give me my lunch break and I may come up with an answer.

I think its the best way.

So how semi is your semi-girlfriend?

Im leaving work today after a year. Will be happy and sad to leave. I cant be doing with all the fuss but will be playing golf hopefully in the future with work collegues.

I'll try and keep in touch if only to better my career

completely prefer to just slip away, ive got 2 leaving parties to goto, plus some other people that i need to say good bye to!

Yes I hate saying good bye. In the next few weeks I have to thank and say good bye to my whole office and warehouse ANNND maybe production. Has been my uni placement job this year. I also feel guilty because I have not done anything all year and they ll prolly buy me a leaving present :(

lol just slipping away - i now make a point of saying bye to everybody i know when i leave somewhere/thing

just think about if you never saw that person again?

I'm going out tonight with the lads from work for a week-early leaving do - still got another week or two but everyone's availible tonight. Only problem is I work 8am-6pm tomorrow! :D

I always just say goodbye to the people that i like or will miss.

No point formally saying goodbye to 50+ or so people, half of them you dont like, they dont like you or barely know them other than their name. If theres free beer thought its worth the aggro.

I never say goodbye either I always say Cya later or cya arround :O

Then I'm obviously not that bothered, if I was then I would see them again so there would be no point saying goodbye. Erm, you follow me?
