Anyone else have a stream of never-ending problems with Belkin routers?

We've had one in our student house since September and it's always, always, always going wrong. Either it randomly crashes (as it has been all of today) and needs to be restarted or switched off and on, or it'll decide that my Dell notebook isn't worth of internet access and just block it. It can still connect to the network, but the router just won't allow it to connect to any websites (or the router config page).

Doesn't seem very good at handling large amounts of traffic either, which I think is probably causing most of our problems. My housemate has torrents going all the time so the poor little Belkin thing probably can't handle the pressure.

Is it just us that has this problem, or have others experienced it? Fingers crossed that my housemate's girlfriend moves in with us over summer and brings her Netgear router with her.

My belkin router's pretty much the same with torrents, and it used to be horrendous for crashing, so yeah I'd agree.

The belkin 125MBps cards have really unimpressed me too, and theres no way Im paying the amount companies charge for draft N. For now, wired's still the way to go IMO if you can, I know I would if I could :(

Considering trying homeplug instead...

Had a lot of problems when enabling WPA, it just kept dieing inc the wired connections, however since putting linux on my laptop it hasnt done it once
