Anyone else have issues with Logitech Setpoint?

Recently got an MX Revolution mouse, and all is fine and dandy until I go to set behaviour of the wheel in certain apps. For example:

I set internet explorer to use the wheel set on the 4th notch for speed, zero acceleration, starting on click-to-click, and breaking out to free-wheel after about 75% speed.

This works fine, UNTIL I use the vista 3D document flip (activated by the mouse's side/thumb wheel), after which the software resets the wheel setup of the mouse :/

Its driving me nuts.

where did you get the Drivers? i had issues with set point on my machine untill i downloaded the ones for my exact OS from the logitech website.

Using the latest ones for Vista x32 on the Logitech website. I didn't even bother with the ones that came on CD.

I have the Logitech MX 518 with Set Point and can't get the app specific settings working at all, luckily the default settings are fine for most apps (IE: forward/back page, iTunes forward/back track, most new games can map the buttons in-game too) but it would be nice if I could get them working with the profiles.

Its working fine for me on Vista 64. Which version of the driver do you have?

Whatever the latest setpoint is, setpoint 4.00 according to http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/130&cl=gb,en

That's the same version as me. Try the Logitech support forums they're usually quite helpful.

I had issues with setpoint and therefore don;t use it at all, my primary function using my computer is 3D work, set point messes up the mouse controls with my software making it a hinderance rather than an improvement.
