Anyone else have zero creativity?

I'd say I am pretty creative, I can sketch pretty well i.e. character concepts, portraits, logo design etc. and I'd say I'm getting better with my web design skills and I'm also aspiring to be a Software and Web Developer.

I've got around 6 gold medals competing against different schools in creating posters out of any sketching and colouring material we want

But as you all probably know, we don't all start off full of creativity, we all start off by being inspired one way or another (conciously of subconciously) and I am thankful that I got inspired in such an early age. Oh, and I had severe symptoms of dyslexia :(

It took me quite a few years of practice to be where I am now.

I am neither creative, or logical, i am both. I am creatively logical, or logically creative, depending on how you look at it :)

I do not believe that anybody is mutually exclusively one or the other, and the scope of your ability in either is defined both by yourself, and those around you.

In either case, to possess one when you have the other requires a mentor, or tutor. Somebody outside the box in whom you trust, who isnt you, that can coax out an aspect of your personality you don't realise exists.

I used to be able to draw pretty well...It was infact my best grade at School...I never did carry it on for some reason =/...Probably enjoy it more than some jobs ive had recently.

I also got into Computer moddeling, but never carried that on either :o

You drawers who gave it up need to invest in some form of graphics tablet. It has helped me immensely in terms of motivation. Saves buying a shed load of paper/pads and pencils.... I've wasted far too much money on drawing materials over the years which have ended up rotting in a corner.

£50-60 quid for a Wacom isn't bad!

Always wondered if its worth doing this to be honest...I love digital artwork as well, I love playing around with photoshop for instance

Wacom bamboo? You can get the for £40? :p Unless there are different models

I got my tablet in a purple shirt clearance when the new models came out, it does me perfectly and I have more motivation to pick it up than one of my many drawing pads. :) Instant upload too for feedback, saves the need for scanning.

The prices increase dramatically depending on the model. £40 for a Bamboo, next model up is about £250 all the way to £1.5k :p

No reason why not. Yes I have but it wasn't online via BigCartel, unfortunately. :( My site doesn't get a lot of hits.

The purple shirt place tried to fob me off with a small one as well, I was like er... it quite clearly says SMALL on the box. Grrr.

I can't write music, but I can write books!

I believe with a half decent mind (and an ounce of luck) you can put it to anything and be successful, it just takes different people different lengths of time and effort achieve the same thing.
