hi guys i went to go and play some bf3 and origin didn't start up just crashed after i put password in after a couple of attempts i got logged in but my bf3 game has gone (bar saying no games installed) anyone else having similar problems?

Seeing as it is a Friday night, I can understand why most people are a little angry about this. Long week at work and wanting to kick back and play some games.

Ah, well this explains a few things.

Would it kill them to give you an error message or some kind of pop up saying the servers are having issues?

I've literally just spent the last 45 mins rebooting, trying to log in, checking my passwords, wondering where all my games had gone, wondering if I had a virus, wondering if that new AMD driver I installed has caused origin to 'not respond'.

Furthermore why on earth can't they have a 'backup' system that allows you to boot games (i.e. BF3) without having origin open, the BF servers I use are still up, so why should I loose out because the program that launches the damn game is having issues?

ffs sod this buying dodgy russian versions :(

thought it was all downlaoded now i have to download another gig and a bit of eng language packs :(

Anyone know if the origin work-round thing still works? Allowed you to run BF3 without having origin open.

mines the same thought i had a problem myself so i uninstalled origin and installed it and still nothin then come on here and realised it wasnt me lol annoys me though why cant we go back to times when you just install a game without 3rd party software theres just no need for it
