anyone else having origin problems??

I just asked EA support how long it would be and got told 'up-to 24 hours'

Golf clap for EA everybody...
 
Its a general problem.

They are putting it down to 'maintenance' but I'll take an educated guess and say something has broken and EA don't know what has caused it and are trying to pass it off as maintenance.

Usually server maintenance will be given a set time period, and judging the 'up-to 24 hours' remark I'm guessing this is not the case.
 
There is a work around to get BF3 running, have it running now with origin closed :)

Edit: may have spoke too soon, just get 'joining server' and nothing else.
 
It's been a bit ropey for me tonight.

Had to keep closing it all down and restarting the game. Took a few attempts just to get on a server.
