HI

I've gotta stay up all night and keep an eye on a change we are doing at work :(

Anyone else here for the night, or has everyone gone off to their warm bed?

:(

Wont be long before im brushing my teeth taking a wee and off to the land of nod :p , i'll fluff my pillow twice tonight once just for you hehe

I found a pub dart board in my Garage and thought I'd clean it up! Kinda boring I know. I don't even know how to play darts!

eBay here I come!

I'm about to head off under a sheet in my mild bedroom, to watch a film - possibly even a little nookie if I play my cards right.:D

Getting paid extra?! Chance would be a fine thing!!

Its part of the job unfortunatley (Half the time I just laze around as there's nothing to do anyway, but don't tell my boss that!) I work from home anyway :)

Actually... It makes it even worse- I can see my bed at the other side of the room, covers turned back just inviting me to get in and 'rest my eyes' for 5 minutes....

how do you observe a change from home?
Via the magic of the intarweb!!!

Just telnet in using putty -> run a little tool and it sits there counting the amount of data that's been moved around :)

Oh so boring though :/

Just fire up Half-Life (preferably HL1) or F.E.A.R.

If they don't keep you awake with the dodgy sounds, I don't know what will.

All night I'm afraid. Work in a call centre which has a 24hr helpline. It's just me and 2 others here. We're getting a call every 20 minutes or so - so it's easy work. Plus they let us use the internet to pass the time. :D All the lights are on motion sensor mode though - so the majority of the call centre is PITCH BLACK apart from the small corner we are in. I keep thinking I see shapes! The security guard walked out of the darkness before and we pooed ourselves!

EDIT: Now we're playing chair racing! :D

what if something goes wrong? do you have like a batphone to call someone to fix it?
Yeah. Everyone else is in bed though. They all set it up and leave the 'new boy' to sit there all night watching it whilst they get a goof night's kip :(

QVC - 0800 50 40 30

(You might get the orders though - they're in the other room! They're not allowed to use the net because they deal with CC numbers! :D )

Oh yeah - of course! They also love to complain that their stuff hasn't arrived, their CC has been charged twice, or to ask where one of the presenter's bought her top from at 3AM in the morning! :p
