Im not talking about a remake or a prequel as that would suck but a new film, it probably wouldn't feel the same but some kind of time travel film in the style of BTTF would be interesting i think.

Then do the film. Even after 20 years, time machine or otherwise, there's no going back on it, we've seen the future... it has to happen!!

But well if they did, i can honestly say id avoid seeing it at all costs, and i doubt speliberg would let them do it, if he has a say.
 
Kinda pointless remakes, the orginals are good enough. Do a different story, albeit on similar lines but remakes eurgh.
 
Nobody read OP's actual post? He didn't say a Remake. A film based around BTTF, new characters i'd assume, same concept tied in somehow to the originals to give it the brand.
 
No, no and NO! I hate remakes, they ruin the old films.

Now, if they want to do a film based around the BTTF films, but having nothing to do with the originals, then its doable, but how would they explain getting the device from the Doc?

I feel that there is newer stuff that people could try, but the film studios are too scared to try something new! Nor do they give their new ideas a chance.
