Anyone else made the switch

I use both. I use regular TP to scrape off the worst of it, then a moist wipe for a finishing polish. Ahhh - soothing.

You'll be wishing you hadn't when your neighbour presents to you the bill to unblock the drains, the may flush but they dont break down anything like toilet paper.

going off what they say on grimebusters :p

I think I'll put my faith in the International Nonwovens & Disposables Association, over "grimebusters".

Are Cottonelle Fresh® Flushable Moist Wipes safe for my sewer/septic system? What makes them flushable?

Yes. Kimberly-Clark (K-C) and other participating member manufacturers worked with industry groups, International Nonwovens & Disposables Association (INDA) and European Disposables and Nonwovens Association (EDANA), to define guidelines to help manufacturers determine if nonwoven consumer products are flushable. These INDA/EDANA flushability guidelines were published in June 2008. The guidelines have multiple tests which evaluate in-home flushability and all methods of disposal (i.e. sewer and septic systems) to ensure products move through a properly maintained and designed home or system.

According to the guidelines, a product is flushable if it 1) clears toilets and properly maintained drainage pipe systems under expected product usage conditions, 2) is compatible with existing wastewater conveyance, treatment, reuse and disposal systems; and 3) becomes unrecognizable in a reasonable period of time and is safe in the natural receiving environments. More than twenty test methods have been outlined in the guidelines to help manufacturers determine if a product is flushable. All K-C Flushable Moist Wipes comply with the guidelines.

I've been a wet-wipe user since early 1999 while on a skiing trip in France. Horrible toilets and the squits lead to what can only be described as someone detonating a poo bomb in the bowl. Anyway a friend has some moist toilet tissue so I took a square and never looked back.

Wet wipes are supposed to be used in conjunction with toilet paper, not as a substitute. That is, the majority with toilet paper and then finish off with a wet wipe for 'cleanliness' ...

If you ate a good diet with 150-200 grams of fiber/roughage you shouldn't even need to wipe. You think paleolithic man had to wipe?

I use one wet wipe then a couple of squares of standard issue paper.

Usually I have ninja poo's that don't leave a trace but it's still nice to 'freshen up'

Man up. I use 800 grit sandpaper.

Not the poncy 2000 grit white stuff, the green, manly paper. For men.
