Been working since 5am. Xmas shift is 23rd - 24th - 25th - 26th - 27th - All 12 hour shifts 5 till 5 on my normal pay. I have considered myself owned.

Pretty much 7 days a week at the moment. My dad works away all the time (hes home 4 days a month) and i dont have a GF

You'd need more than double time to get me at work on Christmas Day. Only reason I'm doing Boxing Day is becuase its triple time.

I'm getting paid normal pay on boxing day, how rubbish is that?

Just arrived.. im happy tho, ive spent the whole morning with my family and wolfed down a nice xmas dinner before hand... now im at work, double time (about £15/£16 an hour, plus a £50 bonus on top) its pretty much dead tho im told, so should be a breeze...

I work for GRG Public resources, we're a police control room and we do vehicle removals for the police...

Same with B&Q then, Wickes do the same. At least we are closing at 6pm round Christmas and New Years. Is B&Q doing that?
