Anyone else on Virgin having problems?

My internet has randomly cut out today. I am aware that Virgin reduce traffic, but I've never had connection problems. Is this happening to anyone else?

Meh, will ring them tomorrow, the usual, threaten to go to sky etc, maybe get cheap 50mb,

Best thing to do could be area specific, had no problems here. Although the TV has been a little dodgy, freezing up on Dave & a number of other channels.

Mine went for a bit today, just released the IP address on the router and it worked again.

Is there any way to contain these kinds of threads to one sticky or something? There's at least one person a day posting with "problems" of some sort in their area, which more often than not turn into the same general crowd harping on about how **** their ISP is and how they want to move to someone else etc, when half the problem isn't with their ISP at all but with their suppliers. I enjoy reading through this board in particular on OCUK but with the steady increase in "Anyone having problems with xxxx today?" threads it's getting rather tedious having to sift through them.

was ok in the day for me, but this evening has been very slow

cant even ping bbc.co.uk but i can surf the web, albeit very slow

Mines been going down at night, but this is due to capacity upgrades in my area.

had mine installed on tuesday (50mb) and after 2 hrs of not doing a lot on it, it broke lol. phoned up and after 3 hrs to a non-english person getting very fustrated he told me hw would book an engy to come and look. and then as if by magic it worked again friday.

in ie type ur ip address and it tells u ur modem info. and look at event log. tells u some info.

Mine is stable, but I am getting real slowdowns at various times of the day - down to about 900kB/s ATM on my 20mb connection - hoping this is just fallout from the upgrade.

wow today is bad for me.... yesterday it was 4.5mb download and normal upload speed today is just 1.3 mb and normal upload speed im on 10mb and used to have ~995x always....
