anyone else really frightened at this tech?

No, technology always evolves and ways to combat that technology will also evolve.
In fact it fascinates me, how about everyone having a swarm of nano bots, that goes around scrubbing arterys clean and doing other repairs are bodies can't naturally do.

If this sort of thing comes about, we are all going to live much longer. This earth will be more overpopulated than it already is :/
 
I can see why you might be a bit scared I suppose, but its like anything else really, the benefits will more than likely far far outweigh the bad things that can be done with it.
 
its like stargate atlantis...only real...and not as advanced yet.

the scientist working on it (Dr Bandyopadhyay.) has one of the hardest surnames to pronounce ever.
 
reminds me of a movie..

something along the lines of a person who had this nano suit and if he/she was shot or whatever, the suit would repair itself (and probably the person too)..

.. thats how i remember it, cant think whether i got it from a movie, book or a dream :S

edit: think i'm thinking of a star-trek book :S
