Anyone else suffering...

I just coughed up something in the bathroom so big and evolved that I swear it made eye contact with me while it was sitting in the sink. Have had a sore throat and a cough since Saturday, but last night I also got a blocked nose, which makes sleeping almost immpossible :/

I have had a really bad cough for the past 5 weeks now, its got so bad that I'm sick 'cos I'm coughing so much. Just been sick all over the place and now my room stinks :(. Doctor said it was a virus and give me anti-biotics :rolleyes:

The most annoying thing is that two other people (who I'm close to) have had the same things... but they both developed tonsillitis around a week and a half ago got some tablets took them and now they are both fine, while I'm here coughing my organs out day and night!


Anyone else dying like me at the moment?

Just to make things worse they painted the outside window frames the other week and now my window doesn't open! :mad: If I hit it too hard the glass is prolly gonna break.

Bloody doctors throwing anti-biotics at people.

Anti-biotics = bacterial infection

They're just gonna make you worse. They disrupt your immune system.
 
one of my mates got tonsillitis last week. now i cant stop coughing, it gets to a point were i start crying from the pain when the constant coughing occurs :(

What sucks even more is the fact i turned 16 yesterday and i spent the whole day in bed drinking soup and water.

Oops, didn't realise you'd posted that too.

I'm sure the census have come in and the doctors have realised there's too many people in England at the moment.

I've witnessed too many situations where some one has went in to hospital with one problem, been given too many doses of anti-biotics, their immune system has shut down, they've caught something, and died from that instead of what they went in with in the first place. :mad:

Sucks, I was the same over my 19th birthday.

I was in bed for a week, couldn't eat because I was coughing so much I'd just throw it back up.

Friends came over to see how I was, and I embarrassed them by throwing up water all over my hands.

I ended up losing about 7KG over that week due to not not eating.

They proclaim it was my embarrassment, but I felt sorry for them. :p

I will never complain about a cough and cold again unless it's like that, I'll be positively happy to have a 'normal' cold if I never get it like that again.

I'll go around with a flanders smile while my nose drips and my eyes are red. :D
