I think so too.
Its a typical "trophy" signing.
I look forward to his appointment , I think he will bring a bit of stability to the club and a man with his European conections could be exactly what we need.
He hasnt really been given a fair crack of the whip at England - the media (and most of the fans) have wanted him out since day one.
I think he will do well at club level. :)
 
To be fair to Boumsong (who again was given the run around by a lower league player at the weekend) his baby son is very ill in hospital in France.
I gather he travels over there regulary to see both him and his wife so that must pray on his mind a lot.
 
Boumsong's abysmal communication and the lack of understanding between the back four does not excuse either his or Brambles shockingly stupid antics every week. They're complete clowns, and when Newcastle do concede goals chances are one of them two did something spectacularly stupid to cause it. They're useless.

As far as I'm concerned the players I'd like to see return next season are first and foremost Given, then Owen, Parker, Emre. Since Shearer's retired then that leaves nobody else I'd be upset about leaving if I'm honest, Solano and Luque included.
 
Ye because they're just going to sell Ledley King for the fun of it and hes going to come to newcastle because we're doing ohh soo well :D

...and the best £4.5 million we have ever spent. He won us the league last year, which has eventually got us to the last 16 of the Champions league.

Indeed, Makes me mad when people (mark lawrenson!) was slagging him off the other day. His baby son is serioulsy ill ffs. He played really well last season, but since this illness in the summer he's has been prone to a few mistakes.

apart from bolton those other 4 shoudl ALL be wins!

City are a decent team
Pompey are poo
Villa? No chance, lad
Everton are on form, like villa
bolton are a strong side, you wont beat them i dont think
