Anyone else use horse shampoo?

One of my Russian friends was taking care of my dog for the last week. She told me that she had to give him a bath she did not have any dog shampoo so she used horse shampoo.

Now considering she does not own a horse I was a little surprised that she had horse shampoo in the house.

It turns out that she says its very good for her hair and it’s very common to use it in Russian.
