Anyone elses Xbox live been a bit iffy?

especially since the recent downtime?

i've noticed going into my friends list, removing friends, sending messages etc can take an absolute age sometimes.

is it just me?

not same prob, but since last week since live was down for a day or so every time I sign in I get the message ''couldnt fully sign in all live features, try again later'' also one time could not sign in at all and my username was greyed out and could not be selected,, try the running initial set up again

If I run the initial setup again will I lose any save games?

I've tried running the initial setup again, which basically boiled down to choosing the operating language and then loading my profile again and, fingers crossed, it seems ok now
