Anyone fancy a Mk1 or Mk2 Escort?

Such a shame there all lhd! Would cost way to much getting hold of all the parts to do the conversion + what beermonster said, the people who buy these are purists!
 
at the end of the day lhd to rhd isnt that big a deal if your reshelling, which is what most of these will end up getting bought for, lots of the rally boys still like mk1 and mk2s

Converting a Mk1 or Mk2 to RHD is very, very easy. Dashboard and rack and that's about it....
 
I don't really think they are especially cheap, most of them are ok as rolling shells but that's pretty much it.

I sold a solid and running 1300XL Mexico replica for 3k a year or so ago which just needed a bit of tidying really. It had a 1600 mk2 Ghia engine, single decambered leafs, Capri front struts and decent interior amoungst other bits.

Interesting find though.
