You seen the prices of tickets?? :o

id be shocked if it was much more than £40-50

I used to do Cheltenham - London Paddington - Cheltenham with FGW and IIRC that was £45 return... id imagine its a similar distance your covering in total... but happy to be proven wrong !

Returns arent much more than a single for the same trip though.

Newcastle is a lot further north than you think.

Have a look on www.megabus.com

Just found these details if they are any good?

01:15 Depart Newcastle, Neville Street
Arrive London Victoria, Greenline Coach Station 07:30 1 seat = £12.00

08:45 Depart Newcastle, Neville Street
Arrive London Victoria, Greenline Coach Station 15:25 1 seat = £8.00

13:45 Depart Newcastle, Neville Street
Arrive London Victoria, Greenline Coach Station 20:25 1 seat = £11.00

I'm going to say for £100 train tickets?

That's how much they were when my aunt looked at getting the train from Darlington (More south than Newcastle) to Welwyn Garden City.

:)

Bloke rang me to tell me that the car is clocked!

Apparently BMW customer services told him the car was last serviced at 150k, car has 84k on clock

No they didn't. The BMW Customer Information centre do not hold mileage data for cars like this. All they have is a list of visits the car has had - it doesn't tell them if its a service, warranty work, additional work or what. Just that it visited a dealer. The mileage is NOT listed - all thats listed is the date of the visit, and the dealer. You've then got to ring the dealer themselves, who can tell you the mileage.

Sounds like he's flogged it to someone else for more money and wanted a way out of the deal.

I saw a printout form somewhere for my car that listed all services with dates and mileage ( this matched the service book ) , the services were at different dealers so I doubt it came from a dealer but no idea where it had come from
