Anyone fitted the LGA1700 bracket to Arctic Liquid Freezer 2 recently?

I'm trying to install a Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB Rev 1 on a Z690-P Wifi D4 motherboard & I5-12600K and the LGA 1700 kit I got from Arctic should have included "x2 screws for Mounting Clips" but I haven't got them. Did anyone else receive these? There are 4x AMD Socket AM4 screws in the box but I'm not sure they're the same.

The two screws holding any of the mounting clips to the block are part of the kit you get with the cooler when you buy it.

Thanks for the replies. I only got 4 screws with the cooler kit but the documentation implies you should get 4 AMD ones and 2 other ones, unless I'm completely misunderstanding it. They do look similar in the picture but I did try with a couple of the 4 and they were impossible to put in and couldn't get close to screwing them in tight, so bailed. The docs say to ensure to use the correct screws which should go in easy but that wasn't the case. Can you remember if you got a pack of 4 and a pack of 2? Thanks.

Do you mean screws or OFFSETS....?

you get four offsets to fit the block onto, if that is what you mean..?

you would not get four AMD ones as this LGA 1700 kit is for an Intel CPU to fit to an Intel board.

I'm getting a little confused :)

EDIT:

Maybe take a look at this...........

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 RGB Rev 2 - User Manual

When you have watched that then click at the very bottom where it states "Installation"

But you should have them already with your cooler - if you didn't how would you fit any of the mounting clips to the block..?

They are not unique or special to the LGA 1700 mounting kit.

That's where I'm confused. I can't attach the mounting clips to the block as I don't think I have the 2 screws. I've got 4 screws, 2 of which fit in the hole of the mounting clip but they don't screw into the block. I fully expect I'm doing something dumb here so appreciate the help.

Mine is now fully fitted so I can't take photos.

If you had the two screws that you are showing in the above photo fitted to the block previously then you are good to go. Whatever screws you had previously fitted to whatever retain clips you used then reuse those to for the LGA 17000 retaining clips back to the block.

No worries, couldn't see them exactly in the photo you showed, then again mine is fitted.

At least you have the right ones now and not cross threaded or damaged your block. Well done :)

@Vimes One last thing I'm struggling with is do you connect the power to the CPU_FAN header or the AIO_PUMP header? I've got it attached to the AIO_PUMP header currently but the fans attached to the radiator are running at 100%.

you connect the plug to the CPU Fan header on the motherboard. Controlled via PWM by the motherboard, within the BIOS, or other software.
