DFI seem to be working their magic again...

X58 chipset, Crossfire, possibly even SLi...

I might well have to pick this baby up and see what it's capable of!

i think i might make a 2nd sugo system for this board as long as the price aint
to high :)

nice find Tute :)

Thank W3bbo for the find, was talking to him about getting a SFF Phenom II rig and then the sod goes and suggests getting i7...

I mean how can I possibly consider it when DFI are releasing this?!?! :D

the nf2 -nf4 days

Yeah - starting with the Lanparty nF2-Ultra 400 (which I had and it was an AWESOME board, better than the Abit board), right through to the nF4-Ultra and SLi boards.

They had some problems with their P35/X38/P45/X48 boards IIRC, and the competition was fierce.

They have recently started to make good mATX boards, incorporating Crossfire with full width lanes so you can get two full sized cards in.

This is just the "next step" in that - the move to LGA1377.

They also look pretty badass aside from the functionality, the old ones had sensitive ports/cables so that under UV lighting, they would glow. :P

Nice looking board but Full on gaming rig in a small case = fail.

Care to elaborate on that?
Cant see any reason why its bound to fail, quality components and good airflow/cooling then there's no reason why it cant be a fully fledged gaming rig.
Be much easier if lugging it round for a LAN party too.

Would like to see good air flow and cooling in a small case filled with hot running CPU/Hdds and twin GPU's.

Are you running Xfire or sli? It was impossible for me to get decent temps in my V350 so much so i sold it. Im keeping the mobo as its very decent but case was not built for it.
