Anyone from/know Windsor?

I'm going for a meal at Cafe Rouge in Windsor on saturday night with some friends, then for a 'few' drinks afterwards.

Which are the best bars/clubs to check out? We're all late 20's if that helps narrow it down.

spot on, a mate of mine got kicked out of liquid for wearing a hat, idiot kept putting it back on, but it was only a beanie type thing, not a baseball cap etc

but Windsor nightlife can be dangerous

I thought Windsor was terribly posh, I was expecting Ralph Lauren jumpers draped over the shoulders of people called Tarquin.

Windsor is posh. Slough isn't. All the undesirables from Slough migrate to Windsor at night.

Liquid is a bit chavtastic but I never went out anywhere else in Windsor while I was at uni. Lovely place during the day but the nightlife leaves a little to be desired.

I'll believe it when I see it, they've been planning to knock it down since I had the misfortune of moving to Slough when I was a kid

Nightlife in Windsor is really not a clubbing place to be honest. Plenty of posh bars though, or ye olde ones across the bridge in Eton.

My dad lives in Windsor so I used to frequent the bars there; dont go to Liquid, it is chavtastic. Check out Browns by the river, or Yellows, which has themed nights and is a pretty good laugh. Cant remember the name of the road Yellows is on, but its very close to the NCP car park in the town centre.

Cool, cheers guys. I'm not a huge fan of clubs anyway, do any of the bars open beyond 11pm though? Would much rather hang around there til the wee hours than a nightclub.

Those in Windsor go into London or Paris/elsewhere for the weekend..

A bit like Royal Ascot week.. all the local stay at home or prefer to go elsewhere to avoid the pretentious idiots.

I'm in Windsor! Try Vanilla, Mantra, Scotch Bar etc all around the underpass near King Edward car park, all pretty decent clubs, a lot have over 21's too so not too many thugs. Good Luck

Havana's, Charleys Horse and Yello would be my suggestion. Avoid Liquid. Made that mistake last week. Chicagos is ok if you like cheesy music.

Also nearly every bar in Windsor opens till at least 12 if not later.
