hi guys any one got a WD black 320gb hard drive?? what you think worth it money to upgrade from a WD 250gb 5400 drive??
 
I'm debating a similar thing myself.. Got a 160GB 5400 Seagate drive at the moment and am thinking of getting the 320GB 7200 WD drive.
 
well i have just orded it so once installed will let you know what i think :D
 
Yeh I just ordered mine too! :D

I'll be happy with my new lappy when this arrives, just fitted 4 gigs of RAM to it today! :)

I fitted a 250GB one yesterday. Still installing the OS, etc. but it seems a good bit faster than the previous 5400RPM 160GB drive. It also uses less current - 0.55A against 0.85A - so it should run much cooler despite the increased performance. Looks like a win all round.
 
got it 2day seamed a bit faster on boot and a bit faster on photoshop load but as i dident find my last drive slow guess i am not really comparing it 2 much lol so only time will tell but the extra hdd space is nice can stick more films and stuff on it :D
