Anyone got Batman via steam? game save help.

i had batman on dvd installed on my old pc, i backed up the save game and today on that steam mega deal i got batman as part of a collection,

where do i place my save game so i can carry on rather than start over? i presume the locations will be different if installed from steam
 
nope if it was in my documents then it should be in the same place.

Only valve games save to the steam folder iirc.

Although to test just load the game and make a save :p

then just look to se if it's in the same place as before if so put them back there/replace it. :)

if not you should know what it should be called and you can search for it .
 
I think and don't quote me on this.. if you have it tied to your GFWL account the saves are saved on their cloud.
 
Urr can I hijack the thread? I can't get past the batman launcher as I seem to be having .NET problem. And physx seems to be the culprit. :(

I'm not quite sure what to do. I got this on steam too.
 
iirc uninstall physx if you have drivers later than v7 then install the game and let it install it's physx then you can update it. ( i think you can update it after but not sure)

although I'm not 100% just going by what i remember in one of the AA threads :)
 
I'm updating gfwl, I've got a 4850 and it says :-

Edit - I'll get the latest physx drivers. See if that helps.

oh you have a ati card. iirc nvidia patched it not to work with them, even if you ran a second nvidia card to run the physix.

Again not 100% sure but i read it in one of the threads.
 
It's just the launcher though! That's very odd, I'm not trying to enable physx or anything. Then launcher is all black except the batman sign. And won't let me click play or that...

It's just not wanting to work for me at all. :( This is the single most frustrating problem I've had with a PC game yet.

Have you tried completely uninstalling phsyix and letting the game install it?

edit: ah sorry i was thinking pof the physx bug in MOh Airborne >.<
