Anyone got Magic Keyboard with TouchID

If you have one please can you test whether touchid works when switching between Macs?

Use touchid on mac1, plug into mac2 via cable to sync to mac2, does the touchid then work without having to reconfigure ? Then back to resync to mac 1 , does it still work?

Do this between my work and personal Macs with the normal magic keyboard, just wondering whether it will work with the touchid format.

I know this is off-topic but I really like the keyboard in general which was a big surprise as I was coming from a high-end mechanical keyboard. I'm really pleased I got it.

Honestly it's the best non-mechanical keyboard out there. It's just as expensive as great mechanical keyboards

but that's the Apple tax.
