anyone had the bug

started with a chest infection, which caused severe chest pain, then a cough developed followed by a cold, the cold has gone, but boy i cant stop coughing...

anyone had this constant cough with a wheeze which makes u cough like an animal and makes you red in the face and pupils? its been nearly 3 weeks now the cough wakes me up at night and doctors keep saying its a chest infection..

just wondered if anyone can relate to those symptoms and if they have suddenly caught this?

I had something like that a while back, tis not fun, had some of the effects, namely the cough which sounded like I was smoking 40 an hour, for about a month.

I had a headache and blocked nose for 2 says and have now had this cough for 3 weeks.

My father, nephew and sister in law have had the same thing, luckily I haven't *fingers crossed*

Oh bugger, I've had this a couple of days now. I just put it down to the cigarettes.

Had the same last year, didn't bother with doctors but my dad had the same and it was viral - nothing to do but rest.

I found corvonia 4 times a day helped shift it, which in turn helped me sleep, which gave me the rest to rid myself of it

ive had like 2 weeks and still counting off work ...grrrrrrrr need to shift it A.S.A.P

waking up coughing in the middle of the night has to be the worst thing ever...
