Anyone have a domain I can use as email?

I've always needed to send emails and such, but I don't have a 'proper' email, I've always used disposable (gmail, yahoo etc) ones.

Just wondered if anyone is able to set one up for me, obviously it will be promotion for your domain and such.

It costs £6 to buy your own domain for 2 years - then at least it can be your own name.

Since you could send out any old junk via someone's domain name i'd be shocked if someone gave an e-mail address to someone they don't know.

But you'd have the added advantage of being able to read all of someone's email, just for lulz/password stealing.

Noob question, but is spam the same for Gmail/Hotmail and domain based email?

I was very happy with my Gmail account until I started getting 200 messages a day.

I find gmail's spam filter to be excellent - sure I get loads but I never see it as it all goes straight into the spam folder.

Yeah, it is really good but im getting around 200 a day

I don't understand how you get 200 e-mails a day, I get around 10ish maybe less a day and they get spam filtered by G-Mail anyways, what the hell are you signing up for or who are you giving your e-mail to?

I'd never give it out to any dodgy sites, in fact it's pretty much only used for important mail and personal stuff. I have had it almost 7 years though....

Well you've been a bit careless somewhere along the line - I've had g-mail pretty much since its started (my addy is in the format firstname.lastname and I've got quite a common name too) except for maybe one or two every few days all my spam gets filtered.

.com, .net, .co.uk and for at a push for an individual .me.uk are really all you should consider

I think there are still letter number .me .uk domains available (e.g. e6.me.uk, g5.me.uk). Try a few combinations... would make a nice short email domain.
