anyone have a toad with remote start ?

to Cut a long story short, can someone tell me how to use the remote start on a toad ai606 please

i cant quite remember how to use the key fob

i thought it was

1. press unlock
2. hit button 3 3 times and then press and hold button 4

but its not working

I had an ai606 on my old car but never used this as at the time it invalidated your insurance, has this changed?

Is remote start not an optional extra?

Also requires it to be wired in?

Yeah it has to be wired in during installation, a fairly involved job i seem to remember.

You can download the manual from the Toad website, it'll tell you how to get into the menu system to see if theres any errors or whatever. You'll need your 4 digit code though.

They're a good alarm system but a massive massive pita to change anything as the only interface is a blinking red light... I did however manage to code in a new keyfob which i got for 3 quid on ebay instead of the 100quid or so toad wanted for a new one!
