They were 80 Plus Verified in june. OcUK haven't been given a release date but I wondered on the off chance if there were any rumours floating about.

Been waiting for a SF-750F14MT but I've just ran out of power connectors so can't wait much longer.

If you know anything please post it here. Thanks.

Well Super Flower introduced SF-1600F14MT at Computex Taipei 2014 said they will launched Titanium PSUs within the next few months back in June 2014 but heard absolutely nothing about it and went to their website to see Titanium PSUs not listed in products yet.

Ah yes I remember that aswell now you say it. It's been worryingly quiet since then.

They had a SF-600P14TE tested in 2012 but it didn't get released. I hope the latest models to be tested don't go the same way.

I know what you mean, but when you consider titanium has to hit high efficiency at 10% load aswell as 20,50 and 100%, 750W can actually be viable. My system for example idles at 78W which is 10.4% on a 750W PSU, so still a lot more efficient at light load than a lower wattage lower efficiency PSU.

It's this efficiency at the lower end that I'm interested in, it means less heat and therefore less system noise. Every bit helps.

I think the efficiency gains are minimum vs platinum or gold rated. In my view, they are marketing materials to show who has the know-how to make such units, and therefore appear as being more "premium" than other brands.

The other argument I could think of is silence, but even gold-rated PSUs can turn the fan off at low-to-medium loads.
