Bought my CM 1000w Silent Gold for £90 in B-Grade from this very store, absolute bargain and served me well this last 2-3 years.

These are absolute quality though, and if I ever go 295x2 Crossfire then I'll be plumping for one of these babies :cool:

First 1600W Titanium power supply, remember you pay for quality. The Super Flower have been given some of the highest awards for quality, now that's something you want to hear especially with PSU'S :-)
 
I would rather see better sf in 500-700 range, I ordered 550W and it have 12cm fan, short gpu cables and the sli option is a joke, they make good psu*just not the one OCUK offer
 
Spend a lot on a PSU and you may get to run a 970 card whine free, I read that lots.. but only on here!

Still coil whine reduction tech on cards sold here are whining!, still spend a few hundred £'s more to try and help!

Not impressed, address an issue rather than marketing please!
 
Super flower once again making corsairs top line look poor value in every aspect, the 1600w titanium is not only higher rated then the 1500i, it's also a decent margin cheaper.
 
Are these all identical units, which have been individually tested, and categorised depending on their individual efficiencies? :p

Also the Gold and Titanium ones apparently have 1600W on the 12V, but the Platinum has 2000W on the 12V.

Accidental leak..? ;)

I agree with a lot of that. But then I already had a Superflower 1000w Platinum and got coil whine on two apparent coil whine free Infinity cards, so the whole PSU argument is a load of tosh, unless of course the PSU is actually faulty.

We would never recommend these for any single card, these are PSU's for extreme overclockers or those building an absolute beast of a PC with several GPU's.

We recommend quality PSU's to help try and reduce whine, its being proven to help in such cases and such power supplies start from £49.99, no one here is recommending anyone to spend hundreds, might want to get your facts right. :)
 
It's only a small minotity that will be buying these as it's way too much power for a normal pc. What we need on here are more quality small capacity (350-500w) psu's, especially modular ones, not monster's like these. What about the Golden Green modular series as well?
 
Personally if I was doing anything that needed that much power, I would just save money by buying a pair of 850W PSU's, linking them up and distributing my components accordingly.

Awesome product though, the GTX-Titan of the PSU market :D
 
making smaller power supply then 500w
will not reduce the price significantly
there is no reason to make a 350w platinum psu
no real point in making a product that limits its market exposure for 5 pounds cheaper
and platinum versus silver at 350w has a very small difference in power draw from the wall
besides achieving high efficiency at 20% load for high efficiency qualification
at 350w is very hard
if you need a good psu buy a good psu
nobody will make a 350w modular platinum
at 1600w nobody will need that number
but there is a demand and the need to make the best so here it is
