OK, basically I just went to borrow one of my old mans bluetooth dongles as I've lost mine. He grabbed it from his laptop bag and said I'd need the driver disk which I do, but the disc is snapped.

The bluetooth dongle is small and has no identifying features apart from just saying usb dongle.

I need the driver but windows doesn't recognise it. Is it possible or am I screwed? The disk had nothing on it other bar the words driver. I'll hunt on his works laptop and see if I can find them.

Used the common sense method above in the end. Found out it was made by IVT Corp... but when installed and using FMA it said native bluetooth support wasn't included. Damn thing!
