Anyone here have a Mk1 Leon (error codes)

I need to get some sort of error reading software and the cable to read the error codes, there are tons of variations on them, does anyone know which cable i need that will fit the port of my car. I know you can use shareware software to read codes, is the cable im miffed with.

Any usb OBDII cable from ebay, and the free version of VAG-COM.

Brilliant thanks, i thought it was that one but wasnt 100%, just got a really irritating excess pollution light that keeps coming back thats related to the glow plugs. Does the free version of vag com allow you to clear codes down?

Yes you can clear codes with the free one but it will reappear if the fault is not actually rectified.

Are you sure you can do that as i have managed to find it has another dam glow plug error but if i try and clear it, it says i need the pro edition.

Go over to SeatCupra.Net and there is a VagCom section where you can ask owners to let you use their software.
