Anyone here like breakcore?

It's getting quite popular now, so I'm guessing there must be a few of you who know what breakcore is (or isn't).

Here's a documentary for those who are wondering what it is, it has interviews with many of the more well known people in the scene... beware, there is the odd smeary tho: :eek:

You should move to Liverpool. Breakcore heaven.

In-fact, after watching some of that docu, I regularly get the chance to see a few of those guys perform. Check out the Class A audio label

Tempting, but Bristol also has it's fair share. My fav being Goatlab night, as you get in for free if you wear a goat outfit!

There's also bangface in London, so it seems to be pretty well catered for.

Nice! I'd like to see the vid once it's done.

Do you remember who you seen? The only breakcore vids I have seen are from Drop the Lime, and he's from the US.

I must admit, I've only heard of or seen half the people on that label, as I've only recently discovered it... I still find stuff like Scotch Egg a bit heavy going, but other stuff like Aaron Spectre is amazing IMO.

I like some of it, the more jungley, hardcore type stuff really. Some of it gets boring and annoying very quickly.
