Anyone here live in or near Exeter?

I'm not one to shy away from a commute (used to do Torquay to Exeter every day which isn't exactly far, and nowadays it's >100 miles to get into any of our offices) but I wouldn't want to do Exeter > Bude every day :(

But if it's what you wanna do then go for it while you can :)

Given it takes ~45mins just to get Okehampton > Holsworthy, to put it frankly....f.dat for commuting Exeter > Bude.

You're looking at ~1hr 30mins on a good day to do that commute and it really isn't that nice to do at all if I'm honest, loads of farm vehicles and slow lorries on the roads between Okehampton and Bude so it'll more than likely be 2hrs.

If the guy must work in Bude then living in Bude is probably the best option, costs will be similar for renting and the money saved on the commute can be spend on hotels, hookers etc in Exeter on the odd occasion.

It takes me 1 and a half hours currently from Plymouth, I was hoping could get closer to an hour from Exeter as it has the motorway for half the journey and I'm out very early in the morning and can do a 4 day week if I work late.

I am really not sure where to stay though... I hate the commute but I've lived in Bude before as well and it is dull! And lonely!
