Anyone know any Car Audio Forums? I need to sell a Subwoofer

Hi guys,

Long story short, I have a car subwoofer to sell, it RRP'd originally at £400+

If I can't get rid of it otherwise I will sell it on eBay or Gumtree but with it being a pretty hefty bit of kit I was hoping to find a decent car audio forum where it might get recognised for what it is to get the most money for it.

Any suggestions?

Don't think TA will let you sell until you hit a post and membership requirement.

What is the subwoofer out of interest?

I cannot remember the exact make and model but its a 15" sub, in the name is definitely the word "Hercules" (at least that's from memory, I can confirm all this later) and the RRP was £450 originally. Its in a box and ready to go, it also weighs an absolute ton.

I'm back home on Sunday so can confirm the make and model then as its printed on the cone and remember looking it up.

Hifonics?

Not heavy at all. Try mounting an Orion HCCA if you think that is heavy. I had one in my bedroom running off a Numark Dimension 4 :P

I want something reasonable for it. I need to try and find out what the 2nd hand market is for them to try and gauge its worth.

I don't know the brand and only think the word Hercules is in there. I know the sub with box weighs at least 20kg from lifting it. Ill even weigh it :p
 
They are rare on TA, it will sell pretty much instantly if you are allowed to sell it there.

Does it work? Does it make any kind of balloon sounding pops?
 
No reason why it wouldn't work. I have no way of testing it unfortunately.

I'll get it on Talk Audio, thanks :) - EDIT Registered with TA, require 30 days membership and 100 posts. I'll check out Streetbassers as suggested.
