Im not being lazy, there support number is going in a loop and im fed up of waiting on the phone. Spoken to tiscali who are broadband supplier and i have been told BT have seized the line

ARGHHH , so has anyone got another direct support number for BT because im starting to get stressed

Cheers fella have managed to get through to BT, had to try every option under the sun mind you. Tiscali have to be the worst ISP i have ever had the misfortune to talk to and whats this indian all centre rubbish about ARGGHHGHGHGH

Very very frustrating :(

If it's about the ADSL, it is your ISP you should talk to. How do you mean "seized the line"?

He may mean ceased? And yeah, it doesn't matter if you go in a loop at BT; if Tiscali are your ISP it's Tiscali you'll need to speak to, regardless of what they tell you BT have done to your line :p

I have found the bt support to be very bad my self. I'm not a racisit but when ever i get through to there support its always some indian thats hard to understand, they also have trouble understand you. Plus you can hear the others in the back ground and they all sound indian. There support center properly isnt even in this country.

It makes the whole experiance very furstrating, it also seems that a lot of them dont know what they are talking about and get all there info from a computer screen in front of them.

In the end i just gave up and managed to sort the problem out myself.

Sometimes I can't even get through to the right department. So many options you have to go through. I wish there was just a direct # that could straight to the department you want instead of jumping through hoops.

Well no, if BT have ceased the underlying PSTN then there's sod all your ISP can do about it...

That's true. However, if it is a broadband problem he's having and his phoneline is OK then it is, as I said, his ISP he needs to speak to regardless of what BT(w) have done to his line. Perhaps we should just wait for the OP to give us some more information before presuming all sorts :p

BT's axing 10k jobs? wonder how many more will go from the already dismal support service.

You will most likely have to talk to BT and then BT Openreach a few times before anythign is done.
