Anyone know how much it costs to run a computer?

Thanks tealc you have put my mind at rest. I will now seriously consider going crossfire!

Speakers monitors external USB drives, modem router, all pull additional watts.

Get yourself an energy monitor from a DIY shop, plug it in and plug in your multiplug strip into it, and have it monitor total energy for a day, it'll give you a very good idea of what you are actually using.

I'd rather just not know how much my pc costs tbh. Still going to use it anyway and it might just make me feel guilty about my flat mates paying for my unhealthy hardware obsession....I should probably rephrase that.

make sure to get a semi-decent one, i got one free from my energy supplier and one minute it was telling me 200W, the next minute 1400W and my 500w psu was at idle the whole time :p
