In much the same way that you would stop yourself dying in a car crash by never leaving your house.

There are other ways to revise other than using the computer.

If the little one is going to be forcing you to install software, you have to ask yourself, is it worth letting them use the machine at all?

I know I wouldn't want software installed on my machine to block things. Infact, I try to keep software that runs real time checks at a bare minimum.

That is completely different to stoping a child from using their computer so that they will study. If they cannot use MSN they will just find something else to do.
