A kettle uses so much power I wouldn't think so!
impossible, there was one in the rugrats episode where there is a blackout and tommys mum has a battery powered kettle.....care to explain that![]()

Best Ni-Mh batteries = 11,664 Joules.
168,000/11,664 = 14 AA batteries for one boil, the battery pack would weigh 331g and would take 20mins to discharge that much energy without overheating.
